Covid 19 Protocols
Updated Dec 26, 2020
Currently we are only allowing 6 people in class, in designated spots, to ensure that social distancing is possible during class time. We require booking for our classes not only to ensure classes are not overfilled but also to track who has been in our space should we need to communicate with our community in the case of an outbreak. We always have a staff member on site to monitor safety at the gym during open hours.
We use a VIHA approved disinfectant, called Savall, for all surfaces and equipment in the gym and all equipment is disinfected after use and between clients.
We are cleaning all high traffic surfaces on a daily basis and whenever possible leaving our front door open to increase airflow as well as decrease contact with the door handles.
We provide hand sanitizer at both entry points to our business as well as 3 hand washing stations (2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen sink) with soap and paper towels. We remind clients to sanitize or wash their hands upon entry and exit of the building.
We have posted warning signage on our front desk and rear entry to our business as well as additional hand washing signage in the bathrooms.
We ask that clients never come to the gym when they are unwell or feel that they may be becoming unwell. We do not penalize late class cancellations for clients who have concerns that they may be ill or have any Covid-19 symptoms. Our staff understands that they are not expected to work if they have any symptoms or suspected symptoms of Covid-19.
Currently our shower/change room is closed and we encourage clients to show up ready to workout, rather than using our facility to change or wash up.
We request that clients do not enter the gym more than 5 minutes before class starts to ensure that no bottlenecking occurs at the front door or in the lobby and to limit the amount of traffic we have in the common spaces of the studio.
Masks are required to be worn at in our studio in all common areas. You may remove your mask when you are in your designated spot for the class. Please put it back on to move around the studio. Coaches may remove their masks when they remain in the designated coaches area but will put them back on to move around the room and any common areas.
